This little gem was the result of a cartoon infused childhood, a love for rap music and an explosive zeal emitting from a new found faith in God. Brother and Sister duo Sam Ox (Bufa) & Muffin aka "The M" are the LAND OF WEIRDOS crew. These songs were recorded between the years 2001-2003 and officially released in 2005. It represents their first signs of experimentation with hiphop music, the goofiness produced from a strong brother & sister bond and the surge of excitemement they both encountered upon responding to The Gospel for the first time. Later on they would both develop in their style, delivery and the way they would creatively express the hope that resided in them. However, The Taste Test Sampler EP is chalk full of proclamations of The Faith, Scripture and a passion for Jesus. This project is the foundation of joy & motivation that was laid to build future artistic endeavors on. After being in 3 different rap crews together over the past decade, Sam Ox & The M today are both members of the Shadow Locust collective of emcees.
